Psalm 19
The heavens declare the glory of God, *
and the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day unto day pours forth speech, *
and night unto night reveals knowledge.
There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. *
Their voice goes out through all the earth,
and their words to the ends of the world.
and their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens he has set up a tent for the sun, *
which comes forth like a bridegroom out of his chamber,
and, like a champion, rejoices to run his course.
and, like a champion, rejoices to run his course.
His rising is from one end of the heavens,
and his circuit to the other; *
and his circuit to the other; *
there is nothing hidden from his heat.
The law of the LORD is perfect, *
reviving the soul;
the testimony of the LORD is sure, *
making wise the simple;
the precepts of the LORD are right, *
rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the LORD is pure, *
enlightening the eyes;
the fear of the LORD is clean, *
enduring forever;
the judgments of the LORD are true, *
and altogether righteous.
They are more to be desired than gold, even much fine gold; *
sweeter far than honey, than honey dripping from the comb.
By them is your servant warned; *
in keeping them there is great reward.
Who can discern his own errors? *
Cleanse me from my hidden faults.
Keep your servant also from presumptuous sins;
let them not have dominion over me! *
let them not have dominion over me! *
Then shall I be blameless, innocent of great transgression.
May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
be pleasing in your sight, *
be pleasing in your sight, *
O LORD, my rock and my redeemer.
